That particular morning around 5 or 6 years ago when I received a phone call from an old friend and he told me that I passed the UPCAT. I mean, it’s not everyday that you pass the UPCAT and it only happens once that’s why I consider it the best moment of my life.

where do you usually buy your films?

I buy them at Columbia Photo, SM North Edsa most of the time. But my latest film haul’s (15 rolls of Kodak Ultima, 36 exposures each) from ebay.

At Mitsubishi Photo Center, SM North Edsa and I always go for the save to CD option whenever I have my film rolls processed.

I'm an amateur photographer. But it seems i find film more interesting and dreamy. Would you recommend me any film camera for beginners? I'm such a fan! :3

Hello there! I apologize for the late reply. To answer your question, a simple point and shoot film camera will do. I used to own a Kodak KB-10 camera in high school and it was the camera that I used for most of my photojourn requirements back then. It was only in my junior year (still in high school) that I got my film SLR (the same camera I am using at present). But maybe, using a film SLR has a bit of advantage in terms of the depth of field and the option to adjust the aperture and shutter speed manually. It’s really up to you. 

Actually, I recommend my film SLR, Nikon F55 for beginners because I think it is pretty easy to use. It’s kinda similar to an entry level DSLR but once you’ve maximized it’s features, you’ll be able to produce quality photographs.

Hello! As far as I know, you don’t have to.

Anonymous: Ok. coz when I tried to download it they’re asking me to Sign Up/Log In, then I tried using the priority download but it’s on .exe file type and those won’t work with mac :( 

I tried trouble shooting it to see if there’s something wrong with the link and the actual file but I couldn’t seem to find a probable reason. I’ll probably just upload it somewhere else. I hope you can wait. I’ll post the new link later.

It’s AF Nikkor Zoom Lens 28-80mm. The only lens I have.

To the Anon who asked me where I shoot forest-like photos in Quezon City. I took most of them in UP Diliman. In my opinion, it’s the closest thing to a forest that we have in Quezon City. But then there’s also, Parks and Wildlife along Quezon Avenue and La Mesa Eco Park in Fairview. 

 You just really have to roam around UPD to be able to find that perfect forest like spot. 

Anonymous asked you: Where do you process your film rolls? You recommended Mitsubishi last time but I have problems with the outcome. Brown lines appeared in the photos.
Hi! There’s Digiprint and Columbia Photo. You can try those. Most of the people I know that still use film have their film rolls processed at Digiprint. You just have to wait for 3 days for processing though. 
If it’s not much of a hassle, you can also scout for stores that process film rolls in Quiapo, specifically at Hidalgo Street.
