An Upward Flight That Ends in Tragedy
Take flight to freedom
With those fragile wings
Breeze through the air
Cross over the sky-colored sea
Soar higher, soar higher
Do not ever look back
The sun is blinding
It will melt your paraffin wings
But to no heed
The sun, only a grasp away
Your wings have been liquefied
By the sun’s hellish heat
Lower and lower
You rushed violently to the sea
Deeper and deeper
To the sea’s peaceful bed
Daedalus laments
Through the metals bars of confinement
Outside, the world was quiet
Nobody seemed to care
